Ocean Home

She steps in the ocean
and lets out a sigh
Knows this is the meaning
to the meaning of life

As the surf and the sand
take hold of her hand
Begs her to stay
as long as she can

Salt in the air
is her spice to life
The breeze in her hair
is the answer to why

The ocean alone
is where she calls home
The only true comfort
that she's ever known

I awoke this morning longing to be by the sea. This beautiful poem has filled that longing within me, thank you Mike.
