Ocean
They saw her as the ocean
She was beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful
Oh boy, but they didn't know
They didn't know she had the power to flood over and destroy them all at once.
Once and forever
This is a form I call "furens cor", and it's composed of a five-line verse taken from a Free Verse poem of mine called "Ocean", written on October 23, 2020.
