Obsession

I wonder how important are you 
if you're being watched over 
day and night by tens of pairs of eyes. 
Are you a jewel with incomparable value 
or are they just dumb to waste time on you? 

What if they just sign you a contract 
and pay you millions, 
so everytime you poop, 
you get it recorded for them? 
Would that quell their obsession towards you? 

Or what if you just let them lick your ___
to satisfy their obsession, or let them 
taste your ___? 

I should not be saying this but it seems that 
there are people who got the obsession of 
sticking their finger to where 
It does not belong even if 
their profit does not justify the cost.

It's like staying awake overnight 
on your motorcycle for a dose of alcohol
or a flattery recognition which really 
has no currency value or bearing
in your real life. 

In the long run, when you're awaken 
from your fantasy, 
you'll realize that the world around you 
has already evolved ten times 
faster than your forward movement. 

The most foolish part is that 
you even give your best for something 
that you can't even understand 
like criticizing the message 
in a bulky book that you did not even read, 
not even for once, or had a glance at its foreword.
