Obsession

Obsession in the sky above, such infinite beauty I truly love 
Beyond the earth I see Mother Moon and stars and planets too
Saturn and Jupiter through my scope sends shivers to my spine
Even Saturn’s rings I see clearly and Jupiter’s many moons
Shiniest planet, favourite by far, is sparkling, glistening Venus 
She really is the jewel in the crown, this diamond way up high
ISS is another treat and I always wave as she passes me by
Oh lucky me having balconies high, so much closer to the sky
Now seeing an exquisite sunset, brings tears of joy into my eyes

What a lovely "planetary" gem, Ann. I love the line about the balcony letting you be closer to this wonderful universe of ours. And the acrostic was a perfect form for highlighting each planet. Congratulations on your win my friend! Your words bring wonder and joy to the night sky.

Ha yes I think I do, I spend more time looking skywards than anywhere else for it is so magical. This morning there was a most beautiful sunrise and on Tuesday there was a stunning Harvest moon - truly wonderful. Thank you Victor with kindest thoughts Ann xx
