Obsessed

We used to hang out, I used to be your friend But that all changed when I started dating him You started texting him and calling him constantly You followed him and stalked him obsessively The girl I used to know wasn’t like that But I guess a crush on a guy can change that Telling him you love him, trying to get him again You think you can do that, and call me your friend? You’re a man stealer, nothing more than that Why don’t you get a life, move on, and scat He doesn’t love you, how plain can it be? Why else would he tell you he loves me? You lie to me and deny that you love him to cover the truth And you’ve fooled yourself into thinking he loves you too You tell me that you don’t want him so I’ll let down my guard But when I’m gone you step your game up and flirt with him hard You can do what you want, with who you want, I don’t really care But you can’t have the man I love, he’s the one thing I won’t share You think you’re in love, when you’re really just obsessed I understand you’re lonely, but won’t you give it a rest? He’s not a prize, but you think it’s a game you can win I’d like to still be friend, but you have to stop chasing him I don’t want to fight with you, back and forth, day after day But you have to leave him alone first, there’s no other way
