Sara, your poem is unique in the way it describes the way animals cope with the disappearance of food sources. LOVE the line about the opossum grinning by the persimmon. One of the best I've seen, dear. Congratulations on your win in Carol's contest! Love, Carolyn

I noticed your crows have a higher voice in LA, where i saw em under the pink sky there in 1990. Shades of Liberache:) Ours have a harsher arkkkk sound. Great poem babe !

very cool how you explained the O words and showed a picture of October. I love that month but I hate what comes after! I wish I know how to do these cool things like stick pictures on my computer all by myself. unique entry!

Dear Sara, you always have a certain way to flatter my reading interest. You are like a mentor without knowing it... I appreciate you and your poetry so much.
