Objects of Nature

There is nature all around us
Nature has many objects
So many trees are around
All an assortment are seen
In the forest a river or stream
It divides the forest in half
Logs on the ground long and short
Scattered everywhere on the ground

Many dead trees still standing
Do we hear the dead trees falling?
Birds in the trees nesting their young
Owls hooting from above a branch
Hikers followed those paths
A narrow path leads somewhere
There is an abandoned log cabin
Dilapidated soon falling

Dead trees are necessary and a part of nature. Just ask any woodpecker. It's the sight of beautiful forests cut down as the song Joni Mitchell sings, "They paved over paradise and put up a parking lot." Thoughtful write, Darlene. Take care.

Hello Denis Splichuk, I like that song. Yet I do not like the idea of a forest being cut down, being used as a parking lot. That is so sad. The forest is important to animals and birds. It is their home. Take care

Hello Mike Gentile, yes death is part of nature that is true. It bothers me to see a standing dead tree. I guess it slowly leans to to the ground before it falls to the ground. Enjoy your day my friend. xxxx-oooo.

Hello Darlene … dead trees in a forest are so important as they provide homes and animals, in fact everything in a forest interconnects in some way - nicely written Darlene - Lindsay

Nature is priceless. Without nature the earth could not support any kind of life. So many people these days don't like nature or any kind of animals because they are so "unclean". Excuse them, a world that cannot support animal life cannot support people either. Without nature we would lose so much beauty and pristine clean-ness. We are the dirty ones who are destroying the earth. A fine write my friend. God Bless, JB

Hello Judy, nature s beautiful any time of the year. I enjoy to watch the birds go into their birdhouses feeding their young. Watching the squirrels rushing about for food. The colour of the leaves etc. Without nature we have nothing. enjoy yor evening my friend.
