Obedience
What should I write God?
I will write about obedience
When God tell you not to do something
Don’t do it
There is a reason behind it
You just don’t know it yet
But He will reveal it to you
When God told me not to tell someone
that a roommate I have now is supposed to stay
I was so tempted to tell to blurt out
But I caught myself
I may not know the reason right now
But I will later
I am sure of it
Got to tell you a story
Also about roommate and
Obedience
I used to have this one roommate
Who for some reasons couldn’t pay rent
Months after months
She couldn’t pay
So many times I was tempted to kick her out
That seems cruel I know
And God said “no”
Each time I was ready to say the words
He said no
So I obeyed
And wouldn’t you know it
Her mom offered to pay me all the back rent that she owed
I think it was more than a year’s rent
So you see “obedience pays”
I was able to replace all the appliances
in the house
And this was right after Covid
So everything was so cheap then
Now they would cost an arm and a leg lol
I still have the pictures of the money orders
her mom sent me
In increments
As she sent me two at a time
As a testimony of my obedience to God
And that it pays
People at the time wouldn’t understand
why I would do that
I didn’t understand it either
But I obeyed
Sometimes you just don’t understand everything
But you obey
And that’s the main thing
I thought I’d share
