O, the Weeping
Unfathomable is my lamentation and melancholy,
Boundless and infinite this inconsolable heart;
So chaotic are yesterday's bittersweet memories,
And dreadful is the weeping of forever tears.
O, the weeping.
Engraved in stone are beloved names for all eternity,
Irrevocable and final are the words, "Rest In Peace";
Quiet is the cemetery this beautiful summer day,
Peaceful and serene the rows of eternal stones.
O, the weeping.
Loud the whispering souls that ever haunt my days,
Yet, I understand that death is a part of living;
But how, Dearest Lord can I just turn and walk away,
Yellow are the flowers I leave in the sunshine.
O, the weeping.
