O, the Dripping Sadness
Shattered and mangled are my wings,
Forlorn is my trembling heartbroken soul;
I am crushed and humbled, torn apart,
Life has left me broken and lost.
O, listen to my weeping.
I have followed the vine of my life,
Each delicate leaf has been a treasure;
Twining through the chapters of my journey;
Each sadness is a poem to be written.
O, wipe away my tears.
The vine leads me down a winding road,
To names engraved in stone for eternity;
But each sadness has given my soul a voice,
Sorrow and pain drip from my pen.
O, the dripping sadness.
