O Santa I Want You To Remember

Oh Dear Santa, Please, please, i want you not to forget,
Again!

Don’t forget how good they were when they picked me up when I fell,
Don’t forget how they helped me while I never helped them,
Don’t forget how giving they were when I had nothing.

I didn’t have anything to give, help them with, I never saw them fall

Oh Santa! Please, please don’t forget them,
They were good while I wasn’t

Antonia, the contests are a great way to get exposure for your poems. This one is sad (sounds like family), insight comes quite often with experience. We see things differently as we age.

I’m glad you got part of the idea of the poem. I really appreciate when readers understand my poems. And I agree age plays a great role in how we see things. Thank you for your comment and visit :)
