O' Monseigneur
O' Monseigneur- from your terrace you see
My eyes gaze upon you from the street
Why can't you just let me be
Complications arose amid you and me
Read the message from mine glazed eyes
As I turn to walk away, free at last
Love memories remain, yet I am no prize
I saw in you, the monster- utterly aghast
Woman I am, not a thing to show off
Human I am-as an object you made me feel
I wipe away my tears with a stifled cough
I turn from you forever- on a graceful heel.
