O Lucky Man
Oh lucky man.
Barabbas was indeed a notorious prisoner
He was a participant in much local trouble.
Pilate knew he was a target
of this man and his followers
Yet,
The multitude had spoke
They screamed for his release
He had to let him go.
Jesus must now turn his mind
Towards death.
He could not be in any denial
The crowd had had their way.
Pilate was the fifth fiscal
To have to deal
With this troublesome corner.
Be it parable or lie
The Christian Passion
Was set on its way..
Just like Barabbas.
