O Lord It's Sore

We face many hurts in life
many of them we don't understand
in these situations it's very hard
to believe in good and all that's grand

Remember God know's what is hurt
the meaning of the word He does know
far more than we could ever do
for this love of God clearly to show

God gave up His only begotten son
to be crucified for this world's sin
and for His holy blood to be shed
so His people will be true Christian

Remember this when you hurt
God knows all you're going through
for when you suffer God also does
for He's there in it with you too

When you are crying out to God
these words O Lord it's sore
remind yourself God truly knows
for He's went through it all before

(Remember seeing a book title recently 'Where is God when it hurts', made me think about this title and my thoughts brought about this piece, trust it may help some who are hurting.)
