O Life That Love Within Me

O Life! that love within me!
Which as my companion has always
stayed with me.
No longer am i young and soft;
but strong and hard, and dry as
space dust.

A freezing breeze through Saturian
hedgerow thorns almost touches me
my last thoughts to remain up road
where no land begins or ends
and the earthly dew that once
wet my tongue no more too.

But the Love within my Life
to Whom i love judge thee most
complete!

She awaits me as i now again
complete this interstellar dream.
