O Heart of Stone
I called for you but know one answered
O heart of stone
smoke stacked hilltop
rolling river of heat
my heart that's made of stone
can't bring me to my knees
I called for you in the darkness
a flickered flame burnt out
O fruitless twisted vine
that's thrown into the flames
you clothed yourself in thorns and thistles
destruction became your master
you made a bed of lies
layed down and fell asleep
you were lead away in chains
eyes closed to the pain
can you hear the screaming lambs of slaughter
O heart of stone, O heart of stone
awaken the dawn
rise up from your slumber
