O Dolorous Day

O dolorous day! Wish I could give you away, For some money in exchange, Well, whaddya say? O dolorous day! Could you spare me a ray? From the sun you hold hostage, Behind clouds of gray? Mind you, this is a public place, So if you must obfuscate, Well, move to some other space, And then proceed to procreate! And on the days you procreate, Can’t you let this little town be? O how heavy is your weight, On the shoulders of feeble-minded me, O dolorous day! If you want, I can gladly pay, For some daylight in exchange, Well, whaddya say? O dolorous day! Could you spare me a day? In which the sun you hold hostage, Can come out and play?
