O Days

O days of summer
where have you gone
O days of fall
you decorate
russet, gold and red
O days of winter
dark and dreary
you coat all in white
O days of spring
I long for you again
to paint the world
full of vivid colours
O days of summer
where have you gone
for you I long.

O, I totally know how you feel, my friend! Hope all is well there now & that you're feeling much better after that fall. Mum's about the same (good days, bad days). Plenty of rain here in PLymouth!

Hi Jack nice to see your name here. Hope all is well my friend your way. A bit of health issues again will give you a short note. Snow is here and makes me sad. From one week to no jackets and the next having to wear them. Take care. love phyl

It is a lovely image but here in Phyladelphia it was a brutally hot summer But sitting here watching the Phyllies playing the Arizona in game 6 to get into the World Series and now the Phyladelphia Eagles are 6 and 1 makes for the easy Fall weather and calling for frost. I love the Soup of Poetry and was quite sad reading about Horseman passing!! God Bless you all everyone

Thanks for your comment. Yes hubby has been watching sports and seems now hockey and curling is on. Yes I love the soup and all the friends made here. Yes I also was sad to hear that Harry had passed away. Being on the soup so many years we have seen a few pass away. God bless and have a wonderful day. love phyl
