O Compassionate and Merciful
Listen to my cries, so pitiful
O Creator and Destroyer
You are my one and only Redeemer
O King of the Last Day
Illuminate my way
Do not forsake me or set me astray
I am here to obey
Do with me what you may
But don't set me aside
I pray you don't make my worlds collide
O Compassionate and Merciful
Dear Lord,
If it is good, then make it easier for me
If it is evil, then set obstacles against me
I may regret and feel sorrow
But I trust you know what's best for tomorrow
My heart is protected in Your chest
Your Spirit preserves my serenity
Keeps me from insanity
O Lord of Passion and Mercy
And bless the Praised One, send him my regards
And enlighten his chosen progeny, for they are the stars
And our last prayer is in praise of You
O Compassionate, O Merciful
