Numinous or ominouS

I wander in the wilderness of my lonesome mind
The blinds between us are blinding me from the sunlit sky
I ponder in the progress of my soul and let myself unwind
I devour the destruction inwardly and I don’t know why

I’m numbing the pangs of pain
I’m away from society’s dire demise
I’m searching for His godly rain
If you can be so wise, open up my eyes

Phases of you made me this funky punk in this bizarre place
Because I’m a disgrace without a trace and I embrace being a burden
All of the sudden, I change into someone else it seems in these dreams and then, I see your face
And I want to embrace you and make out with your misery and joy…where have you been once again?

Illuminating is your aura of awe-inspired, high-spirited bliss and sadness
Together, we are one and the rest is history
Debating whether I love you or hate you or maybe both if I could in hopefulness
Better to live than to die alone honestly

All I ever needed was your affectionate side
All we ever did was die a little inside, a little inside
All I did to you was all due to goodness and grace
This spring haze of a daze is making me sweat with disgrace

I don’t want to wallow in my grief
I want to poetically relieve the swallowing ache from the inside
I’m deflating like a balloon so brief
Where do I hide with this rebellion inside? Obedience is covered by my pride

I’m like a spring sunflower leaf,
Drifting away into the unknown
God will lift me up and hope to Him He forgives my sins of plenty
I’m on my own, a backbone alone
Satan is trying to drift me away from His way of life eventually

But, my numinous thoughts will conquer the ominous nights I face on a daily…
Free me for an eternity
Forever in Your arms
You do me no harm
You keep me spiritually warm
