Number 98

There once lived an Iris in our flower garden.
Every year she dressed in a stately purple.
Her strut across the stage of life was brife,
But her tenture filled us with beauty and delight.

I tell you, Iris was absolutely stunning. She
Was the eye catcher among other beauties.
We left her when we moved 2000 miles away.
It's been 4 years, and she is greatly missed.

We also have a dear friend named Iris residing
In the community where we once lived. She too is a well dressed Iris filled with a caring and hospitable spirit. The memory of the day we first met is as fresh as the morning dew and as clear as crystal.

Iris is very special, a precious gift to our world.
I have been blessed and honored to meet many
Wonderful people. Irish is one of them, and my
Life has been greatly enriched by her.

Iris will celebrate her birthday in a couple of days. I only wish that I could just kiss her cheek and hug her tight
On her 98th birthday. So, here's wishing my dear friend Iris a very happy birthday.
