We grow numb
Poverty
One more child dies
We cry less
Politics
More empty debates
We grow bored
Commercials
One more faulty thing
Trust is gone
School shooting
More students snuffed out
Another day
Another
Cause to join, defend
I grow tired
So many things
Over and over
I grow numb
Painful world
Displayed on the news
Numb, yet watch
