Numb
Running away from everything I know
Fearing all I ever knew
Black acid tears burn scars on my face
I should've never let you get close to me
Never let you get to know me
I'm a little too dangerous
A little too smart
Too fast
Too strong
Too dangerous
Faster and faster through the forest
The blood splashed trees give up their dead
The spirits are my guardians now
You don't need to worry
Approaching the cliff, I see it's manipulative smile
The ground turns to ice under my feet as I slip and fall
The jagged earth digs into my flesh
Soaking it's surface with crimson gore
My eyes burn black as I fall off the edge
My acid tears dig deeper as my mangled corpse falls off the edge
A cascade of blood as my background
The water below is white, pure
But i'm not
The cascade hits before I do, injecting it's deathly toxen
It shouldn't be possible that I'm still alive
Drowning in poison
Bleeding eternally
Acid for tears
I see you at the edge of the cliff
A single tear falls from your face
Comfort felt, only briefly
As your tear turns to fire
And engulfes me
And all I am
Is numb
