Nuances
Quizzical play
Musical sway
Comical day
Humour greets joy
Drama now toys
Greet crazy ploy
Lines in new finds
Blur drowsy mind
Word cryptic signs
Noise floods my ears
What's that I hear
As daytime steers
Odd movement slides
Awkward I glide
Slow wobbly strides
Focus and see
Bright eyes sleepy
Abrupt dream flees
Gather my wits
Yes bit by bit
Rise, stand and sit
When age comes round
Edgy such grounds
In lost and found
Memory lapse
Energy saps
Stranded mind maps
Brisk walking thrust
Adrenaline rush
Unseats plain mush
Here we go now
Fast strides endow
New ground to plough
Pleasure and pain
Voice clear refrains
With yearly gains
Wise and weary
Sighs prime richly
My comedy
Each day a thrill
Of stubborn will
All sorts of pills!
Now I can see
Pass all worry
Eternity!
