Nowhere In Sight
NOWHERE IN SiGHT
I'd pour my heart out
and scream if I have to,
when my soul is troubled,
that's how i take my life back.
hush me no more,
that's how you broke me into pieces,
and put me in this state
of intense loneliness and sadness.
almost unrecognizable now,
the once bubbly girl with spark in her eyes.
I look in the mirror,
searching for the soul that once dwelt within,
She's nowhere in sight,
almost like she never was
I knew when she began to fade,
she cried out but she was hushed.
So, she hid her smiles, laughter and bubbles.
And stifled her joy until it began to hurt.
Slowly, the puppet master extinguished the light that was the very essence of her being.
