Nowhere But in Your Mind

Nowhere But in Your Mind

She asked me: "Where have you been, love?"
"Nowhere but in your unfulfilled mind,
Always comfortable in my own escape,
Always postponing the moment that never starts."

She told me: "You're not here, amor, you're absent like the dance of dead stars,
While my heart is your prisoner,
And my beats are punches in the wasteland that separates me,
Empty rhythms that beat in the hora of a world without truth or bland lie."

"Let me ask and you answer my questions,
And if it's too hard, give up, be silent like blind stillness.
Why are your eyes blue like the sky fallen into abyss?
Seems they carry a river of pain frozen in flames,
And I want to dive into their waves of blissful agony.

To swim through all your problems infinite-finite,
Even though I might drown in my salvation,
Even though my life becomes my fulfilled death.
Your lips look cute in this bright night,
What lip gloss do you wear on your face of living statue?

Because they shine like extinguished stars from so much burning,
I want to kiss them once, at least in a short eternity,
Even though I'll receive troubles like heavy gifts,
It's fine, it's perfect this gentle catastrophe.

All to answer your questions without answers,
And to put the river of pain in its corner of center,
All to be the perfect version you want destroyed,
The one you don't search for but always wait to come disappeared."
