Nowhere

I'm going nowhere
And you're coming with me
What always was will never be
But what is now we can't ignore
And someday soon will be nevermore
When we were we weren't really
Present only surrealy
I'm going nowhere
And you're coming with me
Best accept it you can't escape
Your final destiny and certain fate
In the end there is no more
And you and I will be for sure
Nowhere never evermore
But nowhere isn't really there
So when we get there we won't really care

Thank you for (hopefully) enjoying the poem. Apologies for the annoyance. Really thank you for reminding me of the word paradox. I love paradox. The Universe seems full of them. Great fun looking for them and playing with the poetry. I seem to have lost track of the word until you reminded me. Really, thank you! H

A clever, inventive and pleasant to read write that deeply conveys a message that should resonate in every human...bare bones truth that most will reject or will puzzle over.......good work.

Leo, Thank you for the kind words. I am thrilled that someone got it. I can understand the puzzlement. I do believe the rejection may be fear.
