Now We'Ve Met

We met each other, yet not quite.
Family we've become, yet still we havn't met,
You care, I care, we care for one another.
For the little I can go on; puts us in the same place
Yet still we havn't met.
Your crazy, i'm crazy, we're crazy.
Randomness abides with us,
That helps to bring us closer,
Yet still we havn't met.

Your sadness is a disease
For when you have it, i'll catch it.
When you cry i'll cry
For that too is a disease i'm prone to.
And still we havn't met.

Grateful that I am for
All the kind words you bestowed.
Your friendship I hold dare
And in everything i'll show care.
Happy I wish for you to be,
And in that I will lend a hand.
Yet still we haven't met.

Love you, that I do
And still we haven't met.
That day when we finally do meet,
How will that day be?
A bit awkward or just as it is now?
Like we've known the other
For a length of time.

Now you sit and read the words that flowed,
Flowed from me to this for you.
Our meeting is now complete,
Our formal meeting.
Now we've met.
You've seen me and i've seen you
Now we've met.

I know you know this
But, I love you very much
And in everything, i'll help you.
Help you entirely; that i'll do.

Good day, Lajorne! Happy you've joined the Soup, you'll find it a fun place to visit. Yes the poetry can bring you into mood swings. A poem can make you feel sad, then you'll read another that makes you happy or pensive! Best wishes, Mikki
