We are here living life in this moment of time,
a moment ago is part of the past:
time to wash away layers of dusty old grime,
don't let life harden you like a cast;
don't be trapped and lost in life's unknown places vast.
Gather all your courage and strength- then, take a breath,
face each day of life with your soul and heart:
let your essence flow until your last gasp and death,
sparkle like a star until you depart;
be your own journey and make your own map and chart.
Somedays, I want things- desire them NOW, like a need,
perhaps, it is that pretty dress in the store, I saw:
I debate with my chatterbox inner voice and even plead,
then, I wish for another thing with awe;
coming and going. Are these needs just a humanity flaw?
Oh, life is a Gordian knot of problems unforeseen,
become a swan floating- that is the key:
that knot will untangle for a life of love serene,
and you will become all that you can be:
each day drifting in a vast clear aqua blue sea.
