Now It Has

Life is great. Life is grand.
Things are happening and she is bobbing to the music
Her feet are prancing.
Her heart is dancing.
How could things get better?
BAM!
One phone call
Annihilates every bit of joy.
Gun violence.
She never expected it to reach her family.
But now it has.

We hear or see 'violence...' and 'never expected it reach' our 'family. But now it has'. And it can happen to anybody in this our unpredictable world. Good thoughtful lines, my dear!
