Young plant growing in soil and water drop on it as save world ...

have sowed all my seeds have planted them with love have cared for them daily now, I wait waiting for nature waiting for green to peak waiting for each new leaf now, I wait then there are frail plants then tender flower buds then came the wind and rain now, I wait will the frail survive will they stand up erect will they sway in the breeze now, I wait dead they lay forlorn dead they have given up dead so I plant more seeds now, I wait ____________________________ June 3, 2020 Poetry/Verse/now, I wait Copyright Protected, ID 20-1257-814-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Submitted to the Standard contest, Brian's Select 3 sponsor, Brian Strand Honorable Mention

Beautiful words full of wisdom, Constance! I never had the patience for gardening, but it is a wonderful metaphor for life. Hugs, Rhonda
