Now I Lay Me

Now I Lay Me

Now I lay these tired eyes to sleep,
Oh Lord,
could you watch over me?

God, could you Bless my family and friends,
as I slumber here, in my cozy bed?

One more thing,
then enough here, being said!

Until the night turns into the light,
then I'll wake,
and the world will seem bright.

And Lord, I love you; I wanted you to know?

It's that time now;
turn off the lights and this show.

Good Night!

Hello William, I am glad I made you chuckle. Yes we all have an audience. I am glad that you are not in a dark place either. Glad to hear that you are happy. What is glass itching? It is good to get back to hobbies. Best wishes Darlene

Haha, Hello, Darlene! You had me at a chuckle, I even spit my drink out, sheesh. Haha! Well, aren't we supposed to write cleverly, knowing we have an audience? It's not that I am writing for the audience; I'm writing the way I feel. I haven't been in this seat I am sitting in again, for far too, too, long, indeed, and I am not in a dark place either. But I am happy, I have restarted past hobbies: wood carving, drawing, glass etching; I believe I am going to go eCommerce. Best of Wishes, William
