Is this the world that was so young
and fresh and fair but yesterday?
From leafy bows the robin sung
Is this the world that was so young?
Wild bees upon the clover swung
And grove and field with bloom were gay
Is this the world that was so young

Sere leaves beneath our feet are flung

The turning of seasons certainly brings dramatic changes with it. Almost as if the world we knew has died... This is a truly beautiful write, as is the accompanying photo. I am going to add this to my favorites! Congrats on a well deserved win, Dr. Ram!

Congratulations, Dr. Ram, Beautiful triolets to accompany the picture. I like the use of a question for the repeating lines, I must try that technique sometime, very effective.
