Now and Then

Now and Then
__________________________

We were young,
now we're old
a world of memories
and stories told.

Life has changed,
I admit it's true
but with the old
comes some new.

Friends and family,
at our side
for every moment
to them, we confide.

Each day blessed,
as the last
here's to the future
learning from the past.

Looking back,
we lose and win
but I'm still grateful
for now, and then.
