Now and Forever (A Collaboration/Jessica Arteaga)
For so long I've searched high and low
You stood in the pupil of my eye like the colors of the rainbow
Oh, girl how gorgeous you are
Like a heavenly pearl, and I've watched you from afar!
So many trials and tribulations we've gone through
I've waited in anticipation to get to know you
It's pure determination to show my appreciation of your value
Focusing on our conversation I have a huge sense of deja vu!
Like we've been here and done this in another time
Perhaps I've tasted your kiss and we've collaborated on a Rhyme?
Regardless, we are here and we are together
I promise to hold you dear, now and forever!
Every time I look, I seem to rewind
I forget sometimes that you are by my side
"How did this begin?" I seem to ask myself inside
But you just smile and pull on this string that has no tie
You must be blind if you think that I'll let you pull fast
Come on boy, don't you know, I want this feeling to last
But all these touches you give me, make me want to spill over;
Like the only blossoming flower or the over hanging clover
But with every tender there's a harsh
And we've been tested from the start
But our hearts will always endure
Cause together, I feel pure.
