Now-

there is no now-
now is an understatement
& time is meant only to be
understood. progression
of life is a consistency,
a circle with no beginning
& no end. to know this
is to breach this. society
is not you nor i, society
is a restriction, a law
echoing, reverberating
between us. step out,
with our hands clasped
lets flee out, runaway
to the home we've
never known. in the
warm shadow of day
we'll lay, hidden
in tangles of vines
overgrown.
there is no now-
now is made of clay
& changes shape
with each word we
say. to imagine is to
create, & all surprise
is merely fate.
