November Thrill

Novice shadows cross a molten Moon Just to discover the rising Sun. Varying hues of burgundy soon Emerge and layer patterns that stun. Marbled marquise clusters of low light, Bejeweled stars ever fade away, Evanescent, ethereal sight Receding in the bright light of day. Thanksgiving the holiday that marks Harvest’s end with bountiful blessing. Reverently thank God with remarks inviting His goodness expressing. Life is sustained throughout harsh Winter. Long nights await Spring to re-enter.

No Thanksgiving Day in Malta. But we are always urged to thank God for favors received and think of those less fortunate. ~~

Hello Victor. Yes, every day should be a thanks giving day. We are truly blessed, and should share that grace whenever and wherever we live.

We live in South Africa but I am of both Greek and British decent and we do not have a thanks giving day, perhaps they do in England but I am not aware of it. I think it is such an awesome feeling to have and experience in ones home. But I always give thanks to God for so many blessings he has given the world and our family. Awesome poem, Hugs and blessings Linda, Jennifer. Well penned my friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I've spent four Thanksgivings out of the States where there were no such holiday. Twice I had dim sum, once hamburgers, and once similar fare (in London) of roasted meat and vegetables. Thepoint is, as you say, every day should be thanksgiving day for the many blessings we have. Thanks for stopping by. Linda
