November Me

Remember me, beloved
When the leaves turn red and brown
Remember how we danced in them
As they came falling down

Remember me, my dear one
When the sun sets far too soon
Remember what we talked about
Beneath the harvest moon

Remember me, my darling
When the autumn rains begin
Remember how we huddled close
To find the warmth within

Remember me, beloved
When the last leaf hits the ground
Remember how we danced in them
As they came falling down.
