Nourishment

The sun shines on me with gray skies in the distance
Walls of green trees stand between and a warm wind blows
As it dries the wet ground and puddles disappear
The rain has stopped for now after many downpours
I walk between different shades of weather,
Always knowing how fast things can change
It is nice to see the sun and know that it returns
It is nice to see the rain, knowing it meets a need
Both refreshing in a different kind of way
Bringing nourishment, passing through the day

I always feel uplifted after a shower and love the fresh scent of the damp earth and am thrilled if there is a rainbow too:-) hugs jan xx
