Nothing's Changed

When i was little i was a comical character For my older brothers They loved to tease me I was such a humour If it wasn't my toes, it was the weekly fellowships where every sunday i raised my hand up for the pastor to pray for me I was born again every sunday And it went on for awhile until i grew a little older...and realized I was that special Then falling off from the back of my dad's pickup Was the most scariest thing the kid in me had ever experienced I cried out "Abraham, Moses and Elijah save me" I was never hurt But my brothers were there again...to take it there... Then a few years after i put my hand into a naked electrical wire......mistakenly It was so bad that i had a scar on one of my  fingers for years I was stuck and i couldn't save myself the most scariest experience of my life till this day Thankfully my older brother rescued me Then through life there have been many cases Like my three week hospitalization where i thought i was going to die The nights i never slept because my perception of hospitals was through the eyes of horror movies Where at night, some evil person came and pushed some lethal stuff through your iv killing you instantly Even after that there have been many hospital visits Of loved ones, tough ones to tell Nothing's changed because through a kid's eyes and now through an adult's eyes I have seen the works of God He is still the same from the days of my innocence till now I've grown stronger through His works
