Nothing Will Help This Burning Pain
I lost a piece of me last night
My whole world turned to a fright
When two cops showed at my door
My heart sunk right to the floor
Icy chills ran through my soul
A deep dark emptiness black hole
Could not escape what I was told
My whole body turning cold
Falling to my knees I drop
Heartbeats are about to stop
Stabs of pain slicing right through
Flooding memories of you
In my mind as pictures of
Me without your tender love
Flash with hollow and darkness
All the sparks of any brightness
Now a future is no more
I was kicked right to the core
Of my very sad existence
Way inside there is resistance
To believe you wont return
A hell fire starts to burn
More than fear and lots of fret
Day in, day out I wont forget
