Nothing To Something

It took my courage,my time,
my strength,my life.
But i am still standing tall,
proving it was worth it all.

I made sacrifices,
I gambled my life like a game of dices.
But i must admit,it really helped me a lot,
because i was too indecisive,
i was too one-sided

Thank God i fell,
but always had a reason to come back.
Despite my brain twitching
to the fragrance of an unpleasant track.

I made sacrifices.
I had to stop running away from my dreams.
Get on a train of faith
and ride on the frightening road to my destiny
Weigh the odds
but most importantly go against all the odds.

It took my courage,my time
my strength,my life
my emotions,my cries
my friends,my lies
my soul,my mind
my heart,my love

It took it all from nothing to something.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
