Nothing To Lose
Every time I hear this song, I think of you
I imagine you singing it to me, although you haven’t before
But as a musician, I can hear your voice
Reaching others everywhere you go
Music has a way of making our souls dance
These meaningful inner-steps we take inside
A place to rest in a song, bringing comfort
During the times it is needed the most
The gift of a singer with an instrument to play
Is something to be cherished, listening…
As it connects us, moves us, brings everything to life
With nothing to lose
