Nothing To Fear

We Are Only Here for a Little While,
A Small Window of God Given Time.
Now That I Am Older,
I See I Have Slipped with Some of Mine.

I Wasted So Much Precious Time
Chasing Dreams That Had No Worth,
It Is Something I Will Dearly Regret
When It’s Time to Leave this Earth.

But with the Time Still Left,
I Shall Hope for Better Things,
Perhaps to Help a Friend
And the Joy I’m Sure That Brings.

I’ll Reach out and Say Hello
Or Help Someone in Need
A Simple Kindness I Will Show...
And Others May Follow this Lead.

I’ve Often Asked, “Why Am I Here?”
And No Answers Do I Hear...
But Deep down Inside I Know
My Own End Coming......Is Nothing to Fear..
