Nothing More Or Less

hid insecurities within
  ambiguous humor &
   convoluted whimsies,
rules consistently changing
 in a game which required
hardly more than breath,
  nothing less than obscurity
     twisting a fallible fancy,
    seizing day's intangibility

Wow. Being so in touch with your emotions is the key to unlocking other deep wells. Such keen observations and subtle nuances

Many mask insecurities with humor or laughter, though most of the time there is nothing funny about what they are dealing with. Your poetry always brings a message, light or dark, wrapped in the most beautiful creative talent.

Very astute poem, Paloma. Keen observations. Most people don't consciously know that it is the intangible things that bond two people together. They may intuitively or subconsciously know this ... they just don't seize upon this truth when presented w/it. To keep it always in the forefront of their awareness, instead they tend to bury it in the back of their minds. Very enlightening poem, very much so. Love always. RW
