Nothing Long May Stay Ever
The past is left long way behind
Be cool to memories that plague
And face the future with poise
Put your best foot fast forward
For nothing long may stay ever.
Long and weary is the journey
Trudged the track so far somehow
Think of the path that lies ahead
Gird up your loin and act bravely
For nothing long may stay ever.
Do not get tense about the details
They certainly unfold on the way
You may stumble and get jammed
Keep on pacing with grit positive
For nothing long may stay ever.
Many brave have trekked the route
Daring the numerous impediments
And left their foot prints prominent
Chase their trail and move onward
For nothing long may stay ever.
There is no room for complacency
But to act with immense firmness
The goal may be seen in distance dim
Keep moving rightly towards the aim
For nothing long may stay ever.
