Notes About The Poem

Nothing Left to Live For

(Cremation in Kathmandu, 2009)

The longer I live
The more I think a life well lived
Is one that leaves you fully hollowed out,
Nothing left to grasp,
Nothing to be attached to
And thus ready
To go in peace and leave no trace.

I still have a ways to go.

You’ll have just enough Lunita, no matter how long the fuse…. Cheers.
