Nothing Is Forever

the sunshine floats from the floor to the sky
time, it seem, has flown by
the night sets every time
tick tock on the dime

i look to the sky for answers to this
yet, i cannot comprehend the kiss
kiss of the wind as it streams in hallow ribbons
each divided into smaller dividends

a small picture of a girl sets up a wall
her eyes a pale green and stature small
she holds a small yellow flower, slightly askew
from her yellow sundress during mid morning dew

from morning skies
to darkened cries
let this be a testament to stand time
nothing is forever, not even a gentle chime

Beautiful. I love how gently this poem flows. My favourite is definitely the third verse, your imagery is bewitching.
