Nothing Happens By Chance

A youthful reed facing a wretched wind Without root system to sustain her being Set in her ways and refusing to bend Lacking faith beyond the life she was seeing But the tracks she was leaving in my life lay deep Causing me to observe and intently stare Tracks that caused concerned eyes to weep Wondering why God had chosen me to care Dear Friend, In allowing us to cast a backward stare at life We should become more thankful for who / where we are today.
