Nothing Even Matters

everything can fall around me
and nothing even matters
the world can come to an end
and it won't even matter to me
I tried to climb the ladder, that
ladder of life, but I came tumbling down
my hopes and dreams dashed, the promise
of tomorrow smashed, in one word
like a sword pierced through my heart,
broken it falls and nothing even matters to me
can the pieces be put together?
the shatters of sharp broken shards of my heart
they don't even matter to me

A powerful write Carmen. As tough as life is, we have to keep moving forwards. I focus on one day at a time and if things get too rough then one hour at a time. Ultimately, you have a special purpose here that you are destined to fulfill. Simply just by writing down your feelings helps others know that they are not alone. And that's pretty special! I sincerly hope things pick up for you.

Life is like a priceless precious vase. when it falls and smashes we try to put it back together. As we do we find tiny cracks we can't mend. The more the vase falls the bigger those cracks. But then something wonderful happens as through the cracks a bright light shines and heals those cracks. I say this with confidence because once upon a time I was that vase. Now I shine brand new with no cracks and I give my thanks to my heavenly Father. Amen. Keep writing kiddo. hugs x

Oh Carmen, you sound so sad. everything in life matters but I know about broken dreams and promises but they only last as long as you make them last. We are given life and it is what we ourselves make it. So make your dreams come true it may not happen right away in God's time it will. Now write something positive and uplifting wear your smile with pride. you will find all things matter so out with the negatives and in with the positives and live for the day. hug x
